After a long night of partying after the Met Gala, Kate Moss, 44, was shopping in New York City and looking effortlessly cool wearing a studded biker jacket, wide-legged trousers and sunglasses She had swapped her stilettos from the Gala for platform boots. She had looked stunning at the Met Gala in a Saint Laurent little black dress and her ageless features were enhanced with great make-up so that she was positively glowing.

Adam Sandler and David Harbour are to receive Webby Special Achievement Awards for work on Netflix shows. The special achievement awards marks their special contributions to Internet culture.

Sandler has starred in several Netflix original films making streaming platforms both popular and profitable. Harbour will receive the Webby Special Achievement for Best Actor in recognition of his starring role as Sheriff Jim Hopper in the Netflix sci-fi horror hit Stranger Things and for using social media to engage with fans and spread positivity on the Internet.

Sir Elton John sends warning to Ed Sheeran

Sir Elton John and Ed Sheeran are good friends, with Elton at one time taking on the role of Ed’s mentor. Now, Sir Elton John has warned the red-haired chart topper that his fame will not last forever. Elton said he told Ed, “There’ll come a time where this won’t happen every time and you have to accept that”. Sir Elton, aged 71, has sold more than 200million records during his 50-year career.

Sir Elton announced earlier this year he is retiring from touring to dedicate more time to raising his sons Zachary, seven, and Elijah, five. He will mark the end of his touring career with a show of 300 dates over three years. The singer, who married David Furnish in 2005, also insisted that although he was retiring from touring he would not stop making music.

Cannes Film Festival

Russian supermodel Irina Shayk and Oscar-winning actress Julianne Moore lead the glamour in plunging black gowns as they hit the red carpet at the première of Abu Bakr Shawky’s Yomeddine during the 71st Cannes Film Festival in France. Yomeddine follows the story of a leper in Egypt, and is nominated for the coveted Palme d’Or award at the 2018 festival.

Irina, aged 32, wore a gown that had a waterfall hemline at the front of the dress and a flowing train. She completed the look with a pair of strappy sandals. For jewellery, she wore a statement diamond necklace with a pair of matching drop earrings, visible because her hair was in an elegant up-do.

Julianne Moor, at 57, looked chic in a Saint Laurent black maxi dress teamed with heels and a statement necklace. The custom-made gown was strapless and featured an asymmetric neckline. The frock came in at the waist, before skimming her frame to the floor, with a side split to see nude heeled sandals. Her jewellery was a silver ring and an amazing emerald and diamond necklace. Sleek hair and minimal make-up created a youthful complexion.

Chantel Jeffries wore a white gown of sheer mesh and crochet that showed off her figure to perfection. She co-ordinated her show-stopping frock with strappy gladiator heels, and kept her hair and make-up natural.

British singer Tallia Storm, aged 19, wore a revealing black gown formed entirely of glittery sequins. Clinging to her body, the frock cut off at her thigh to leave her legs on show and extended into a train of black and silver embroidery. Her accessories were simple with black patent court shoes and delicate drop earrings.

Rita Ora back in London

Rita Ora is back in London after the Met Gala on 7 May, wearing a casual hoodie and make-up free look. Whilst elegant on the Met Gala red carpet on Monday night, Rita chose to wear a baggy grey hoodie and brightly patterned trousers for her flight back to the UK.

At the Met Gala Rita had worn a custom Prada gown, an all black, elegant ensemble. The v neck dress swept the floor and was embroidered with neon pops of embellishment that imitate a floral design. She had a mini bag to finish off the look and the crown added a regal touch.
