Upcoming red-carpet film premieres in 2018

There are many film premiere, red-carpet events in the UK including, in May, Solo: A Star Wars Story, followed in the summer by Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Ocean’s 8, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and M:I 6 – Mission Impossible, before seeing the year out with X-Men: Dark Phoenix and on 26th December, Bohemian Rhapsody. We’ll be following them all for a run-down of who was there, with whom and who they were wearing.

Film première: Ready Player One – 30 March 2018

March saw the celebrities out on the red carpet to see Steven Spielberg’s highly-anticipated sci-fi movie Ready Player One in London. Despite freezing temperatures actress Hannah John-Kamen opted for a bright yellow gown with a scooping neckline that was both classy and sexy. Olivia Cooke looked fabulous in a sequinned celestial silver and lavender dress.

Who Won?

38th BRIT Awards – 21 February 2018

The 38th BRIT Awards took place at the O2 Arena in London. Winner of two awards Dua Lipa was one of the most fantastically dressed of the night, wearing a pastel-pink candy floss princess, meringue cloud. Camila Cabello wore a stunning blue gown, straight out of Disney. Cheryl wore a little black dress while her Beau Liam Payne wore a stylish grey tux. Haim made flower crowns cool with the help of some ethereal dresses and great hair styles.

Sam Smith mixed up the colours with a burgundy shirt and navy jacket, which was an impressive suit combination. Clara Amfo carried off the colour of the season with a dress in a bold shade of violet. Alice Levine wore inspired boho chic, Caroline Flack wore a floaty dress whilst Mollie King carried the rock chick look. And last, but by no means least, there was some sparkle and exposure from Pixie Lott’s pastel

BAFTA’s 2018 – 18 February 2018

With a sign of what we might be seeing later in the year, the BAFTA nomination’s in February saw Jennifer Lawrence exude Hollywood glamour in a classic silk dress with cinched in bodice and semi sheer back. Gemma Arterton chose an asymmetric black evening gown. Rarely seen at red carpet events, Kate Middleton, seven months pregnant, wore a stunning dark green gown with a black sash and black clutch bag and Angelina Jolie looked elegant and chic in an off-the-shoulder, velvet, floor length gown.
